BG 800 Pedestrian Walkway

THE FIRST MASH TL-2 CRASH TESTED PEDESTRIAN WALKWAY
MEETS AMERICAN DISABILITY ACT’S STANDARDS OF ACCESSIBLE DESIGN
NARROW 21” BARRIER FOOTPRINT PREVENTS COMMUTER BOTTLE NECKS
ENHANCED PEDESTRIAN PROTECTION FROM CONSTRUCTION CONFLICTS

Highway Care now offers contractors, maintenance workers and traffic designers a choice for positive protection in urban environments. Whenever pedestrians are routed near live traffic or vertical construction, MASH TL-2 (5000lb pick-up truck/25°/43mph) crash tested covered pedestrian walkways are the answer.

Highway Care presents BG 800 Pedestrian Walkway

Cities across the United States are facing a crumbling infrastructure and aging population. When sidewalks are removed for repair, pedestrians are often forced into harm’s way with few alternatives but to walk next to fast moving cars and buses.

Highway Care introduces the first  MASH TL-2 crash tested pedestrian covered walkway. The tested  design adheres to the American Disability Act’s (ADA) standards for accessible design, even in the most challenging environments. A narrow 21” barrier footprint provides more room for wheel chairs to pass without the risk of a bottleneck during the busiest commute hours.

Limited anchoring into any type of surface provides flexibility for even the most antiquated urban environment. Keep pedestrians, bicyclists and motorist’s safe with positive barrier separation provided by Highway Care.
